Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP)

The Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) is aspiring for new HR professionals, as well as experienced HR professionals wishing to update their skills to meet today’s unique challenges. Operations managers with HR responsibilities will also benefit from this program by gaining insight into HR management practices and policies.

OBJECTIVE

Obtaining certification is the perfect way for current and aspiring HR professionals to distinguish themselves as experts in the field and to ensure employers that HR professionals have the necessary knowledge, skills, abilities, and other requirements to perform the job. Holding an HR certification demonstrates a candidate’s competence, experience, dedication, and credibility.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must meet specific educational and work experience criteria at the time they submit their application, in order to be eligible to sit for the CHRP exam. These requirements are outlined below:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher,
  • At least 2 years of work experience in HRM.

Any applicants with lesser working experience than the above will be reviewed by the AFMA Certification Board to determine their eligibility for the program.

CHRP COURSE

The course is designed with a view to achieving business goals through proper talent management, aligning L&D goals with business goals, retaining colleagues, risk-taking in a rational way, and international HRM.

The course is divided into 4 (four) parts with 16 modules. Generally, each module will take 1 class per week so it will take 4 months to complete the course.

CHRP EXAM PREPARATION COURSE

Competent HR professionals with relevant job experience have the opportunity to sit directly on the CHRP exam without joining the course. In that case, the local partner might arrange 6 online classes 1.5 hours each before the examination. This pricing will be determined by the local providers.

CHRP EXAM

Exams are designed to validate your knowledge of human resources, as well as increase employability skills, and coaching skills by testing that knowledge and your ability to apply it (i.e., competency). CHRP exam is designed to assess the knowledge required to perform at the highest level. It consists of 100 (four-option multiple-choice) questions. Exam duration 2 hours. Passing Mark 50%.

The exams will be administered thrice per year. Please consult the local partner for the dates.

 

WHERE WILL THE EXAMS BE ADMINISTERED?

AFMA Australia has an agreement with our Bangladesh partner (Mr. Sazzad Hassan) who will administer the exam and arrange all the logistics support. All the exam papers will be assessed by the AFMA Australia.
